You may be wondering what cropping &
orientation mean. The examples below will help explain why
cropping & orientation are part of our slide scanning
and negative scan process. Cropping & orientation are
included with our Silver, Gold, and Pro film scanning services.
So What is
Cropping? Scanning slides or negatives leaves a black
border around the scanned image. The process of removing
this border is called "cropping." Meaning that
the border is cropped out or taken away from the scanned
